Privacy Policy FP — Friendly Poker Companion

FP (“the App”) helps home poker groups track buy-ins, cash-outs, and settlements.

1. Information we collect

We collect the following types of information to operate the App:

Account & profile

• Phone number (for sign-in/verification)
• Display name
• Preferred currency

Game data

• Games you participate in (lobby/live/ended status, rules such as minimum buy-in and discrepancy settings)
• Players in a game (including dummy players created by the host)
• Money actions: buy-ins, cash-outs, edits/corrections
• Final totals and settlement results (who should pay whom and how much)
• Activity/events related to gameplay (for transparency and syncing across devices)

Friends

• Your friends list and friend suggestions based on recent games (when you choose to add friends)

Notifications

• If you enable notifications, we store device push tokens and may send game-related notifications such as invites, game-ended results, and dealer round reminders.

2. How we use information

We use your information to:

• Create and manage your account and profile
• Run multiplayer game sessions and sync state across devices
• Calculate settlements and show results
• Maintain your friends list and game history
• Send game-related notifications you opt into (we do not send spam)

3. How we share information

• With other players in your game: Your display name and game-related actions (buy-ins/cash-outs/edits/final totals/settlement-related info) are visible to game participants as part of the gameplay experience.
• Service providers: We use third-party infrastructure to run FP (e.g., database/auth/hosting and push notification delivery). These providers process data on our behalf to provide the service.

We do not sell your personal information.

4. Data retention

• We keep your profile, friends, and game history for as long as your account exists.
• You can request deletion (see “Account deletion” below). When your account is deleted, we delete or de-identify your personal data unless we must keep something for security, fraud prevention, or legal compliance.

5. Security

We use reasonable security measures to protect your information, but no method of storage or transmission is 100% secure.

6. Your choices

• Notifications: You can enable/disable notifications in your device settings.
• Profile: You can update your display name/currency in the app.
• Account deletion: You can delete your account from within the app (Settings → Delete Account) or by contacting us at the email below.

7. Children’s privacy

FP is not intended for children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will update the “Effective date” and may notify you of significant changes.
